HOW DO I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATE?
During the checkout process, you may request a preferred Monday through Friday delivery date. YOU MUST choose the appropriate shipping method to meet your preferred delivery date. (For example, if you ask for a delivery that is the next business day, do not choose 5 day ground shipping - you would choose UPS Next Day Air shipping.)
If you request a delivery date that cannot be achieved using the shipping option you choose, we will send you a courtesy email notifying you of this problem, but will still ship the order using your selected shipping method. If you leave the preferred delivery date field blank, we will ship your order the same business day you order it, subject to the cut-off time of that item. We do not ship any packages on Saturday or Sunday.
Please note that UPS guarantees their ground deliveries "on or before" the date you request, except for weather delays. On VERY RARE occasions, UPS may deliver Ground packages one day early - which is beyond our control. If your package does not arrive on or before the guaranteed date, and it is NOT due to weather or an incomplete address, your shipping charge will be refunded less a $2 boxing fee.
HOW DO I FIGURE OUT WHEN MY PACKAGE WILL DELIVER?
There are several ways to find the transit times for each product. While shopping on our site just go into any of our products. To the lower right of the photo of the item you will find an “estimate shipping” button. A window will pop up asking for the ship to zip code. Once you enter this it will note all of your shipping options. If you have already placed the item in your cart simply enter the zip code and your shipping options will come up at the bottom of the screen. If you are in the check out process (after you have noted the ship to address) the shipping options will be noted in the pull down under 5. Shipping method.
Please note transit days are Business days, Monday – Friday only. Holidays and weekends do not count as transit times. The day the order ships out does not count in the transit time. For example say you are shipping a gift and you have placed the order before the cut off time noted for that product on Friday. If you choose next day air shipping your gift would arrive on Monday. If you choose UPS Ground (2 biz days in transit) it would arrive on Tuesday. If you place your order after the shipping cut off the order will ship the next business day.
WHERE DO I FIND THE SHIPPING CUT OFF FOR A PRODUCT?
To the upper right of each product photo you will see the item name, item number, if the order is in stock, and then the shipping cut off time. For example if the product says “Usually ships same day Monday - Friday if received before 11AM EST” then orders for this item received Monday – Friday prior to 11AM EST will ship the same day. Orders received after 11AM EST or during the weekend will ship the next business day.
CAN I STILL ORDER CHOCOLATE IN THE SUMMER?
You sure can! We love our chocolate all year and know our customers do, too. During the summer please note the description under
each product photo for any specific shipping information you may need to know to ship that item successfully in the summer.
HOW DO YOU SHIP CHOCOLATE IN THE WARM MONTHS?
We use various shipping aids such as insulated boxes, heat wrap, and cold packs to keep the chocolate protected from the heat. We also limit the number of days in transit, so you may see some shipping options restricted, depending on the state you're shipping to. We guarantee your gift against heat damage if you add cold packs to your chocolate order. Our guarantee does NOT apply to delays due to weather or delivery attempts that are unsuccessful.
WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING OPTIONS?
We utilize UPS and USPS. Specific shipping costs are provided when you add individual products to your shopping cart. Orders received Monday thru Friday before the item's noted cut off time will ship the same day, subject to hot weather shipping restrictions.
UPS GROUND DELIVERY provides delivery Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Saturday and Sunday do NOT count as business days, and there is NO delivery on Saturdays or Sundays. We cannot guarantee a particular time for delivery during the delivery day.
LOCAL DELIVERY IN KNOXVILLE, TN. Note local delivery is offered in the city of Knoxville TN only. We no offer local delivery to any other locations in TN or in any other states. Local delivery is only offered for those products for which it comes up as a shipping option (most candy bouquets and baskets, no lollipop or oreo gifts for example) Orders received by 11 AM ETS Monday - Friday can be delivered locally in Knoxville, TN on the same day. Orders received after that time will be delivered the next business day. Cost is $14.99.
WILL MY ORDER SHIP THE DAY I ORDER IT?

Orders received after the cut off will not ship until the next business day. We do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays. You may also specify a future arrival date during the checkout process. Your item will arrive on or before the selected date.
WHAT ABOUT DELIVERING TO AN APARTMENT?
UPS allows its drivers discretion as to whether they will leave a package without a signature at an apartment address. This can lead to delivery delays, for which we are not responsible. One recommendation is to allow your gift to be left with the apartment's leasing office, which you can indicate in the customer comments section at check-out. Please note if you do not list the apartment number UPS will consider that an incomplete address.
DO YOU DELIVER TO HOSPITAL PATIENTS?
No, we do not. Delivery delays are common and we have found it is better to send the gifts to the patient's home. If you place your order online shipping to a hospital, we will email you to request an alternate delivery address and place the order on hold.We DO deliver to hospital employees.
WHAT IF UPS DOESN'T DELIVER MY PACKAGE WITHIN THE GUARANTEED TIMEFRAME?
In the unlikely event your UPS 2 Day or Next Day order is not received by the guaranteed delivery date, we will refund the shipping charges, minus a $2 boxing fee. This does NOT apply to delays due to weather or delivery attempts that are unsuccessful. Please note that we do NOT refund the purchase price of the gift for delivery delays - only the associated shipping fee.
WHAT IF I PROVIDE YOU WITH AN INCORRECT ADDRESS?
Orders sent to a wrong or incomplete address are not guaranteed. UPS charges us a $11 - $15 fee to fix and forward the package to the correct address, which will be subsequently charged to your credit card.Incomplete addresses include those missing an apartment number or suite number.Wrong or incomplete addresses also result in at least a one day delivery delay. If UPS is unable to deliver the package due to the bad address they will send the package back to us.
DO YOU SHIP GLOBALLY? Because of the perishable nature of our products, we cannot ship outside of the U.S., to Hawaii, or Alaska. We only ship within the continental U.S.
